Wealth Advisor and Managing Partner

Managing personal assets can be intimidating, even for clients who have had multi-billion-dollar budget responsibilities in their careers. My desire is to bring solutions to people who need them, and the relief they express is palpable—it’s a big part of why I love to do what I do.”

Scott has been helping investors reach their goals for more than 27 years. After graduation from Southwest Baptist University, Scott spent about 11 years at with commission-based firms Dean Witter/Morgan Stanley in New York and St. Louis, then a short stint at UBS Paine Webber in St. Louis. After years of pressure to sell products, it became clear to Scott that “cold-calling”, sales contests and pushing investment products was not for him.

Originally from St. Louis, Scott and his wife Kim, have resided in Franklin since 2003. They have twin children; Grant and Ellie. Grant is studying Supply-Chain Management at Auburn University and Ellie is studying Integrated Marketing Communication at Ole Miss. Two rescued shih-tzu’s, Freddy & Karley round out their family unit.

Scott is a devout fan of the Nashville Predators (his wife, Kim, constantly reminds him that he had Predator tickets before a house when they moved to Nashville), duck hunting and water-fowl conservation.

After working together for over 22 years, Scott & Jeff started this firm as a declaration of independence—believing people deserve the best financial solutions for their situations.

Scott & Jeff wear their product-agnostic approach as a badge of honor and hold themselves to a fiduciary standard for their clients that puts the clients’ interests first. Scott & Jeff bring over 54 years of combined financial planning experience to the table for their clients — understanding what it takes to navigate transitions and prepare for what’s next.
